Bishopville, SC (WLTX) -- It may just be the Taj Mahal of topiary gardens and you have got an opportunity to visit it for a great cause.
72-year old Pearl Fryar is opening his Bishopville topiary garden for the second year to raise funds for the American Red Cross.
The idea to raise money for the non-profit organization came to Fryar while he was in church after an apartment fire in the community.
According to Fryar, he believes it is his duty to help out when others are in need.
"I am one of those people that believe it is our responsibility to help people who are less fortunate than we are," said Fryar.
Fryar is offering tours of the garden on Friday from 10:30 to 4 P.M. and Saturday from 10:30 to 4 P.M.
There will also be a presentation with the Red Cross and Pearl Fryar from 10:30 to 12:45 P.M. on Saturday.
Admission is free to the event, however donations are encouraged with all the funds going to the Red Cross.
