Washington, DC (WLTX) -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued the following recall:
2012 - 2013 Model Years of the Nissan Altima
This recalled was issued because they may have been equipped with transverse link bolts and power steering rack bolts that were not tightened to proper specifications. These bolts may come loose and fall out, causing the driver to lose control.
Nissan will notify owners if their vehicle is among those being recalled, and the dealerships will properly tighten the bolts in question.
This safety recall will begin on or about October 29th.
