Colleton County, SC (WLTX) -- Colleton County Fire-Rescue say two young colts died in a fire Saturday afternoon at DC Farms in the Hudson Mill Community. 

A neighbor called 911 after seeing smoke coming through woods. Firefighters say when they arrived the wooden barn was mostly collapsed and a truck load of hay stored in the building was burning heavily. Crews had to pull apart the burning hay bales to extinguish the fire.

Investigators say an electrical problem likely caused the fire. Two colts born this spring died in their stalls.
