Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The South Eastern Conference honored the Gamecock's senior defensive back, D.J. Swearinger, for his performance Saturday against Arkansas.

Named Co-Defensive Player of The Week, Swearinger totaled his career-best 13 tackles Saturday, and added on interception he returned for a 69 yard touchdown.

Swearinger shares the award with LSU's Craig Loston.

The USC Gamecocks wrap their season at Williams-Brice this Saturday, with a 1pm kickoff against in-state opponent Wofford.
