Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Seven USC football players have been invited to the 2013 NFL Combine that takes place later this month.

The combine is a series of physical and mental tests given to prospects as they're evaluated by NFL general managers and coaches.

Among the group of Gamecocks on the list is running back Marcus Lattimore. Lattimore damaged ligaments in his knee last October, and has been rehabbing his leg since then.

He likely won't be able to participate in any physical drills, but he has said his goal is to play during the 2013 NFL season.

The combine will take place from February 23 to February 26 in Indianapolis.
