Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- SC Highway Patrol's MAIT team is investigating a fatal accident that occurred around 9:20 Saturday morning on Rabon Road.

Troopers say two vehicles were involved in the crash.

According to officers, a 77-year-old female from Columbia, driving a 2004 Ford Mustang died in the wreck.

Troopers say the driver and passenger of the other vehicle were transported to Richland Memorial Hospital for their injuries. Their conditions are unknown.

No details about what led to the crash have been released at this time.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
