Richland County, SC (WLTX) - The Richland County coroner has identified the person killed in a collision on Interstate 26 Monday.
Gary Watts says Robert B. Frantz Jr., 51, died from injuries suffered in the crash.
Frantz was driving along I-26 East at mile marker 93 when he lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road, and struck a tree. HIs car ignited after the impact.
An autopsy performed shows he died from trauma associated with the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
