Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The Richland County coroner has released the name of a man killed along Highway 277 Tuesday.
Gary Watts says 59-year-old Gary A Raszewski died on 277 near Bull Street just after 10 a.m.
Raszewski's SUV left the road and struck a concrete barrier, then ignited. Several people attempted to rescue him but were unsuccessful.
An autopsy concluded Raszewski died from injuries sustained in the collision.
