Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Lawmakers are looking for ways to help victims of human trafficking in our state.

A senate subcommittee advanced a bill Wednesday that would require some establishments to post information for a national help hotline.

The requirement would apply to airports, train and bus stations, and adult establishments like gentlemen's clubs.

The bill would also allow the attorney general's office to send human trafficking cases to the state grand jury.

The legislation comes after the general assembly passed human trafficking legislation last year.

The bill will now move on to a full committee next week.
