Officers say Gantt intentionally shot at a Dodge Charger in an attempt to hit the people inside. Gantt is accused of running towards the vehicle while firing rounds at it. Police have said they think shots may have been fired from the vehicle as well.
One of the bullets fired hit Zahara Walker as she was inside a home watching television. The girl remains in the hospital.
Officers have not yet said if they think Gantt fired the shots that hit Walker.
