Lexington, SC (WLTX) -- A former Lexington County Deputy has been convicted of criminal domestic violence.
A magistrate judge sentenced Daniel M. Creamer, 22, to either 30 days in jail, or a $1,000 fine. Creamer must also undergo 6 months of counseling.
The charges came after a February 19 incident. Investigators say Creamer and his girlfriend got into an argument at their home and Creamer assaulted her.
The Attorney General's office handled the case because of the potential conflict of interest.
