Brett Parker testifies on May 24, 2013.
Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The jury is deliberating in the federal gambling case of convicted double murderer Brett Parker and his father Jack.
Prosecutors needed to prove that least five people were involved in the betting ring or that at least $2,000 was handled in a single day.
Tuesday, the prosecution presented evidence they say shows at least eight people were involved, but the defense contests some of those identified were not involved in the bookie business.
Brett Parker was convicted earlier this year of killing his wife, Tammie Parker, and his business associate Bryan Capnerhurst back in April of 2013.
