(WLTX) --- If you need further proof that Tiger Woods remains the number-one draw in golf, consider that the rating for his victory at the Memorial Sunday was a whopping 138 percent increase from the 2011 broadcast of the 2011 event.
It was the highest rating for the tournament's final round in eight years.
The rating peaked at 5.7/12 during the final half hour of the tournament.
The last time the event drew a rating this high was in 2004 when it had a rating/share of 4.2/9 for the final round.
In that 2004 Memorial, Woods finished third behind winner Ernie Els and Fred Couples.
