Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Another member of USC's athletic department leadership is headed to Texas A&M.

A spokesman for USC confirmed Marcy Girton is leaving South Carolina to take a position on the Aggies' staff. She joins Eric Hyman, who accepted the job as A&M's Athletics Director last week after seven years at USC.

Girton has served as South Carolina's Chief Operating Officer since 2008.

Hyman and Girton worked together at Texas Christian University before he was hired by USC.
