(WLTX) --- A pair of centers wearing #55 are back on the Rimington Award Watch List. The award goes to the nation's top center.

USC senior T.J. Johnson is a three-year starter who has started all 40 games that he has played for USC.

The Aynor native is back on the list as is another native of the Palmetto State.

Clemson's Dalton Freeman, a finalist for the award last season, is on pace to become the first four-year starter at center for the Tigers since Ralph Jenkins from 1943-46.

One other note for the Tigers, tight end Brandon Ford is on the John Mackey Award watch list. That award, won by Clemson's Dwayne Allen last season, is awarded to the nation's top tight end.

Ford had 14 receptions for 166 yards and two scores last year and has 25 catches for his career. He had his touchdown receptions last year against North Carolina and Wake Forest. Like Freeman, Ford was also an Academic All-ACC performer last year.
