Hoover, AL (WLTX) -- On the final day of SEC Media Days in Hoover, Alabama, sports writers from around the country chose 7 USC players for this year's All-SEC Teams.
Marcus Lattimore was the leading vote-getter in the SEC, earning 201 of 222 possible votes.
For the 3rd straight season, the Gamecocks had a sophomore make the SEC First-Team roster. This year Jadeveon Clowney earned that bragging right, carrying the torch following Lattimore, a sophomore in 2011, and Stephon Gilmore, who was a sophomore in 2010.
Center T.J. Johnson was picked for the second-team offense. Defensive end Devin Taylor, defensive back D.J. Swearinger, and linebacker DeVonte Holloman were all named third-team defense.
Bruce Ellington was named second team specialist as an all-purpose player.
