(WLTX) --- Former Dutch Fork and Coastal Carolina standout Dustin Johnson has come close to winning his first major tournament.
In 2010, Johnson saw leads at the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship evaporate. However, with those battle scars comes experience in dealing with Sunday pressure in golf's biggest events. Johnson hopes that experience will pay off this weekend at the Ocean Course.
Johnson is part of the Palmetto State contingent that is hoping some familiar surroundings in front of family and friends will help increase the comfort level and relieve a tiny part of the pressure of playing in a major.
