LONDON (WLTX) - Two former Gamecocks hurdlers both took home silver medals Wednesday at the London Olympics.
Lashinda Demus finished second in the women's 400 meter hurdles, posted a time of 52.77, just .07 behind the gold medal winner, Antyukh Natalya of Russia.
Jason Richardson finished behind American teammate Aries Merritt in the men's 110 meter hurdles. Richardson posted a time of 13.04 seconds.
Demus and Richardson both ran track at Carolina, and were coached by Curtis Frye.
