(WLTX) --- The Columbia Blowfish took game one of the Petit Cup semifinals with Edenton 8-4 Wednesday night at Capital City Stadium.
With the victory, the Blowfish can advance to the championship series with a win at Edenton. Games two and three of the series are set for Thursday and Friday, respectively.
If the Blowfish advance to the finals, they would host game one of the best-of-three series Sunday night in what would be the last home game of the 2012 season and given the uncertainty surrounding the team, it could be the last game ever in a facility that has been around since 1927.
