SEC Announces 2013 In-Conference Football Schedule

Birmingham, AL (WLTX) -- The Southeastern Conference has announced the in-conference game schedule for the 2013 season.

2013 Schedule For the USC Gamecocks

 

  • Sept. 7 at Georgia
  • Sept. 14 VANDERBILT
  • Oct. 5 KENTUCKY
  • Oct. 12 at Arkansas
  • Oct. 19 at Tennessee
  • Oct. 26 at Missouri
  • Nov. 2 MISSISSIPPI STATE
  • Nov. 16 FLORIDA

 

The Gamecocks will open the conference schedule against Georgia on September 7.

The schedule consist of six games against SEC East teams and two games against SEC West teams (Arkansas, Mississippi State).

The SEC Championship Game will be played on December 7 at the Georgia Dome.

South Carolina will announce their four non-conference games at another date.

The first game of the 2013 season over-all for the SEC will be played in Nashville when Ole Miss visits Vanderbilt, and then the Gamecocks head to Georgia on Saturday, September 7th, 2013.

The SEC is saying the 2013 schedule is considered a "bridge" schedule, as is the 2012 schedule, and not based on any other previous or future scheduling formats.

The SEC Athletics Directors will convene in Spring 2013 to begin formulating schedules for the 2014 season and beyond.
