CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Clemson forward Devin Booker says he and fellow senior Milton Jennings are prepared to carry the load underneath for the Tigers this season.
The two forwards will likely have to do much more this season as Clemson's only upperclassmen.
Booker is the 6-foot-8 younger brother of Washington Wizards forward Trevor Booker. The younger Booker believes and Jennings can lead the way for the Tigers.
Booker and Jennings combined for 21 points and nearly 13 rebounds a year ago. Those were OK supporting numbers as last year's senior backcourt of Andre Young and Tanner Smith ran the show. Booker and Jennings understand they'll have to raise their games for Clemson to soar this season.
The Tigers were 16-15 last year and missed the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2007.
