(WLTX) --- Clemson held its first workout in Atlanta Wednesday, doing so in the Georgia Dome, the site for next week's Chick-Fil-A Bowl matchup with LSU.
Head coach Dabo Swinney says there have been some changes in bowl preparations this year with more competitive work and live hitting. The coach is hoping the tweaking will lead to a solid performance against LSU. For the second straight year, Clemson will attempt to win 11 games for the first time since the 1981 National Championship season.
Speaking at the team welcome dinner in Atlanta, Swinney announced that two players - reserve quarterback Tony McNeal and second-string offensive tackle Shaq Anthony are academically ineligible and did not make the trip to Atlanta.
