Columbia, SC (WLTX) - USC quarterback Connor Shaw and linebacker Cedrick Cooper had successful surgeries, the team's doctor said Friday.
Dr. Jeffrey Guy said Shaw had surgery on his left foot. He injured the foot the first time during the Tennessee game on October 27th, then aggravated it again during the Outback Bowl.
Cooper, a freshman, injured his knee in a bowl mini-camp just before Christmas.
Both players will begin rehab soon and are expected to make a full recovery, the school said. Neither, however, will participate in spring practice.
