(WLTX) --- Clemson's road woes continued Thursday night as Virginia handed the Tigers their worst ACC defeat since 2003 in a 78-41 decisioni at John Paul Jones Arena.
Clemson lost its sixth straight game on the road.
In the 2002-2003 season, Clemson lost at Maryland by 39 and the 41 points scored against Virginia was the fewest in an ACC game since scoring 38 points at Miami in 2006.
Clemson was down 38-10 at halftime as it once again, failed to make a strong push to start the game.
K.J. McDaniels was the only Tiger to reach double figures, scoring 10 points, Irmo freshman Jordan Roper added eight.
Clemson (12-10, 4-6 ACC) returns home Sunday to face N.C. State.
