Swinney said the early stages of spring is focused on the fundamentals and starting from scratch - with the building process continuing through the summer and then obviously taking a giant step during preseason camp.
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan was an observer Wednesday. His son, Seth, will enroll at Clemson this summer and walk on to the football team this fall.
