(WLTX) --- Irmo's Dustin Johnson fired a 5-under 67 as is just one shot off the lead after round one of the Masters.
The former Dutch Fork and Coastal Carolina standout missed the 2012 Masters with a back injury and his best finish in the event was a tie for 30th in his 2009 debut.
But Johnson, who was coming off a tie for fourth at the Shell Houston Open, picked up where he left off in the Lonestar State as he birdie the first two holes and followed that with a birdie on the par 4 9th to make the turn at minus-3.
An eagle on the par-5 13th and a birdie on the par-5 15th moved him to minus-6. A bogey on the 17 dropped him to 5-under, one back to Marc Leishman and Sergia Garcia.
