Columbia, SC (WLTX) - USC head basketball coach Frank Martin announced Friday he's signed three more players to come be part of the Gamecocks.
Martin said the following players have been added: Demetrius Henry, a forward from Miami, Florida; Duane Notice, a guard from Woodbridge, Canada; and Reggie Theus Jr., a forward from Los Angeles, California.
Theus is the son of Reggie Theus Sr., who played in the NBA for 13 years and made two All-Star teams. Theus Sr. has also been a head coach in college and the NBA.
These three signees join early signees Desmond Ringer, Justin McKie, Sindarius Thornwell and Tyrone Johnson.
While these players are coming aboard, Martin also said four players are leaving.
"After our team's end of the season meetings, Damien Leonard, Eric Smith, RJ Slawson and Brian Richardson have decided to ask for their release and will not be with the team moving forward," Martin said in a statement. "We want to thank them for being tremendous representatives for the University, the Athletics Department and the men's basketball team. We fully support them and wish them the best moving forward."
