(WLTX) --- One would be hard-pressed to find anyone more excited to start football practice than Ace Sanders.
The former Gamecock has not played since earning MVP honors at the Outback Bowl. Since then, the only football-related activities he has done are his workouts.
But Friday will mark the first day of mini-camp for Jacksonville, the team that chose Sanders in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.
Sanders says he is excited to get back on the practice fields and in the process, take part in his first NFL workout.
The native of Bradenton, Florida says he was very grateful he was drafted by the Jaguars because friends and family can make the three-hour drive to watch him play.
