Action from a pair of games involving Midlands teams as Lexington hosted South Aiken, while Airport did likewise with Socastee.

Lexington won 4-1, while Airport cruised to a 9-3 victory.

Both of these victories are huge as each will be at home for the next round.

Airport scored eight runs in the first inning to take command of its game with Socastee. Three of those runs came off the bat of Casey Parker. The former News19 Player of the Week smacked a three-run homer as the Eagles batted around in the first inning.

For Lexington, Josh Reagan pitched his fourth complete game of the year and ran his record to 9-0.
