USC Softball Seasons Ends in NCAA Regional Final

Austin, TX (WLTX) --- Three seasons into the Beverly Smith era, USC Softball posted its best season since she took as head coach. The 2013 season ended with a 6-0 loss to the fourth-ranked Texas Longhorn Sunday.

Texas' Taylor Thom hit two home runs to propel the Longhorns into the Super Regional. With the loss, South Carolina finishes their season with a record 34-25. The Gamecocks lose three starters and a pitcher from this team. This edition of the Gamecocks are the first to post 30+ wins under Head coach Beverly Smith.
