Chapel Hill, NC (WLTX) - Friday's NCAA Super Regional game between South Carolina and North Carolina has been delayed until Saturday due to weather.
Tournament officials made the announcement at noon. The game will take place at 12:05 p.m. Saturday.
The original starting time for Friday's game was 1:05 p.m.
Tropical Storm Andrea brought bring rain and some occasionally gusty winds to the Carolinas. Forecasters are expecting rain for several more hours in the Chapel Hill area, which is the site of the game.
The Super Regionals are a best out of three format, with the winner advances to the College World Series. Game two is set for Sunday at 1:05 p.m. A potential Game 3 would take place Monday.
