Former Gamecock Stephon Gilmore will miss some time with a wrist injury (Timothy T. Ludwig, USA TODAY Sports)
USA Today --- Stephon Gilmore will miss six to eight weeks after fracturing his wrist in a preseason game against the Washington Redskins.
Losing Gilmore could cripple coordinator Mike Pettine's quest to have the Bills play an attacking-style defense. Pettine will need defensive backs who can cover man-to-man on the outside, and the Bills won't have their best cover corner.
Gilmore is a former Mr. Football who went on to start at USC in the secondary.
