Blythewood, SC (WLTX) --- Blythewood linebacker Jalen Williams was down to Clemson and Appalachian State and in the end, the senior chose to stay in the Palmetto State.

In a ceremony at his school, Williams announced that he will attend Clemson. In choosing the Tigers, Williams will take a grayshirt offer from the Tigers over a concrete offer from the Mountaineers.

Former Blythewood head coach and current assistant Jeff Scott was at the Sumter-Blythewood game last week where Williams recorded five sacks.

Williams made a trip to the Upstate with this family for the Wake Forest game.
