(WLTX) --- Columbia natives Tyrone Corbin and Jermaine O'Neal were in action Wednesday night for the first time in this new NBA season.
Corbin, who was elevated to head coach of Utah in February of 2011, began his third full season as head coach of the Jazz with a 101-98 loss at home to Oklahoma City.
Corbin is the former A.C. Flora and DePaul star who was in the NBA from 1985-2000.
O'Neal made his debut with the Golden State Warriors and scored seven points in 20 minutes in a 125-94 win over the Lakers.
The former Eau Claire standout went straigth to the NBA out of high school and is in his 18th NBA season.
