COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina says its game with Mississippi State at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday is sold out.
The athletic department said Thursday that means that six of the seven home games are sellouts since there are no tickets left in the 80,250-seat stadium for November games with Florida and Clemson. South Carolina says that's the most sellouts in one season since 1981.
The Gamecocks have not played at home since a 35-28 win over Kentucky on Oct. 5. They have a 14-game home win streak dating back to Oct. 1, 2011, and a 16-13 loss to Auburn. Beating Mississippi State would tie the school record of 15 in a row, set from 1978-80.
Tickets are available for South Carolina's game with Coastal Carolina on Nov. 23.
