CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Clemson coach Dabo Swinney wants the eighth-ranked Tigers locked into goals still within reach in the final three games, not those they've let slip by this season.
The Tigers (8-1, 6-1 ACC) close out the Atlantic Coast Conference season Thursday night at home against Georgia Tech (6-3, 5-2), the surprise leaders of the Coastal Division.
Clemson's goals included winning the Atlantic and playing for a league title. Instead, No. 2 Florida State (9-0, 7-0) wrapped up that half of the league last Saturday after a 59-3 victory over Wake Forest.
To two of five team goals listed in the Clemson meeting room are no longer attainable - winning its division or the league title - Swinney says his players must put those aside and keep moving forward.
