COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier says he knows his team's chances of playing for the Southeastern Conference title depend on what happens in a game that should finish before the No. 11 Gamecocks kick off Saturday against Florida.
But Spurrier doesn't plan to pay much attention to No. 25 Georgia at No. 7 Auburn.
Instead, he wants his team to focus on beating the Gators for the third time in four years. He says South Carolina has other goals like winning six conference games.
Both Georgia and idle Missouri have to lose one more SEC game for the Gamecocks to win the SEC East.
South Carolina offensive lineman Ronald Patrick says South Carolina can't win the SEC East this week, but they can lose it.
