Melanie Balcomb is leaving the USC women's basketball staff after one season as Director of Coaching Offensive Analytics.
Balcomb has been hired as the associate head coach at Texas Tech, a role that brings her back to on-the-court coaching as her job as USC was strictly an analyst role and during games, she was strictly an observer.
Balcomb spent 23 seasons as a college head coach, 21 on the Division I level. She was at Xavier for seven seasons and her 14-year stint at Vanderiblt saw her leave as the Commodores' all-time winningest coach.
