USC in Top 10 in BCS, Clemson Just Outside

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina has made the top 10 of this week's BCS rankings, while Clemson slipped out of that group in the latest numbers.

USC is number 9, while Clemson is number 11.

The Bowl Championship Series rankings were released Sunday night. The rankings are a derived number which takes the following data into account: the Coaches' Poll ranking, the Harris Poll ranking, and the average of the computer rankings.

At the end of the season, the teams which are ranked number 1 and number 2 in the BCS play in the national championship game.
