Dabo Swinney a Finalist for Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award

Clemson, SC (WLTX) - Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney has been named a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award.

The award is presented annually by the Football Writers Association of America.

The other finalists are Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy, Michigan's Brady Hoke, LSU's Les Miles, and Kansas State's Bill Synder.

Swinney has led the Tigers to a 10-3 record and the school's first ACC Title in 20 years. The team will also make its first appearance in a Bowl Championship Series game when it takes on West Virginia in the Orange Bowl.

Chip Kelley of Oregon won the award last year.
