New York, NY (Sports Network) - New England Patriots owner Robert K. Kraft is
part of the Columbia University Athletics Hall of Fame's 2012 induction class.
The induction will occur on-campus on Thursday, Oct. 18.
Kraft will join 18 other former student-athletes, two former head coaches, an
athletics administrator and two Columbia teams, the 1933 Rose Bowl
championship-winning football team and the 1988 NCAA championship-winning
men's fencing team, in the 2012 class.
Kraft, a 1963 graduate, earned two letters in football, first as a member of
the freshman football team in 1959, then with the varsity lightweight football
team in 1960. His career was ended by an injury during the second game of his
junior year.
