Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Clemson (10-2, 7-1 ACC) will face LSU (10-2, 6-2 SEC) in the 2012 Chick-fil-A Bowl at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on December 31 at 7:30 PM.

This will be the first meeting between the two schools since the 2006 Chick-Fil-A Bowl . This is also the highest ranked opponent Clemson has faced in a bowl since 2003 when upset sixth-ranked Tennessee.

Both teams have ten wins on the seasons. The Tigers are 2-5 overall in their previous Chick-fil-A Bowl appearances.
