(WLTX) --- Former White Knoll standout Adam Matthews has been taken in baseball's amateur draft, going in the 29th round to the Cincinnati Reds.
Matthews' selection gives USC five players on its current roster who have been drafted - led by All-SEC First Team selection Christian Walker who went in the fourth round to Baltimore.
Sumter's Price will join Walker in the Orioles' organization after that team chose the USC reliever in the seventh round.
Evan Marzilli (8th round to the Diamondbacks) and Michael Roth (9th round to the Angels) were the other players drafted.
