Naples, FL (Sports Network) - Sean O'Hair and Kenny Perry combined to fire an
11-under 61 on Saturday and that gave the pair a 2-stroke lead after two
rounds of the Franklin Templeton Shootout.
The duo finished 36 holes at 19-under-par 125. O'Hair is looking for his first
win at this event, while Perry has won the crown twice. Perry won with John
Huston in 2005 and with Scott Hoch in 2008.
U.S. Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III and one of his captains' picks, Brandt
Snedeker, carded a 7-under 65. The first-round leaders dropped two back at
minus-17 on the Gold Course at Tiburon Golf Club.
Stewart Cink and Carl Pettersson fired a 10-under 62 to end two rounds tied
for third at 15-under-par 129. They were joined there by the teams of Charles
Howell III and Rory Sabbatini, and Jason Dufner and Vijay Singh. Both those
teams carded 9-under 63s on Saturday.
Jerry Kelly and Steve Stricker, the 2009 champion, shot 9-under 63 to match
defending champions Keegan Bradley and Brendan Steele (64) at 13-under 131.
