SILVIS, ILL. - In the final round of the John Deere Classic former USC golfer Wesley Bryan made some noise on Sunday. He was the co-leader at one point during the final round of play at 15 under. His best round was the final round shooting a hot 64.
The Gamecock got into a zone down the stretch. He birdied five of his last six holes on the back nine. He almost birdied on the 18th hole but came up inches short of the cup. That would have tied him for second but Bryan improves upon last year at the JD Classic where he finished 8th overall.
This is second best finish of the season and fourth top five finish for Bryan.
Bryson DeChambeau won the event at 18 under by one stroke for his first career PGA Tour Win
