Larson Makes A Pit Stop At Elementary School

Last Sunday's winner at Michigan was at Brunson-Dargan Elementary School where he handed out book bags to students.

DARLINGTON, SC - When Kyle Larson won his first Sprint Cup race Sunday at Michigan, he was beaming in Victory Lane. On Thursday, he put some smiles on some elementary students in Darlington.

Larson was at Brunson-Dargan Elementary School on Thursday where he handed out book bags, but not before he autographed them for the kids. The book bags were courtesy of his primary sponsor Target.

"That was wild, they were amped up to see me," said Larson.

"It was cool and especially to see how excited they were. A lot of them, it sounded like they watched the race and watched the celebration. So, that was cool. It was just fun to come out and give them book bags."

Larson's win has qualified him for the Chase. He will be sporting a throwback Target scheme from a 1990 Indy car for Sunday's Bojangles Southern 500.
