Contract For USC Baseball Coach May Be On Friday Agenda

The USC Board of Trustees may consider a contract at their meeting Friday morning.

Columbia, SC (WLTX) The search for a new University of South Carolina baseball coach may be coming to an end.

The school's board of trustees plans to meet Friday. On the agenda are "proposed athletics department contracts" and "athletics employment agreement."

Earlier this week, Athletics Director Ray Tanner said he thought a deal would be made with the new baseball coach before July 4th.

Coach Chad Holbrook resigned on June 6 after the Gamecocks failed to make the NCAA Tournament. USC finished the season 35-25.
