Dawn Staley Embraces Sky-High Expectations

Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- USC women's basketball coach Dawn Staley held a news conference Thursday to put a wrap on the 2013-14 season but also to look ahead to next year which already has expectations the highest they have been in recent memory.

All of the main weapons for USC will return from a team that secured the program's first SEC regular season title and first number-one seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Staley then secured the nation's second-ranked recruiting class which features three McDonald's All-Americans headlined by A'ja Wilson from Heathwood Hall - the number one prospect in the country.

Throughout the news conference, Staley uttered the words "national championship". She says in a roster that is absolutely loaded with talent, the players that do the little things with the goal of helping USC win the national title will be the ones who enjoy the most playing time.
