COLUMBIA, SC - The coaching search for the South Carolina baseball program continues and a couple of names have surfaced who could possibly takeover.
The Big Spur reported that South Florida's Mark Kingston interviewed for the open position this week. Kingston led USF to 42 wins and a NCAA Regional appearance this year. He brings in 8 years of head coaching experience and he played with former USC head coach Chad Holbrook during their North Carolina days.
Another name that could make more of a splash is Kevin O' Sullivan out of Florida. D1baseball.com reports that the Gators head coach is strong candidate to take the reigns at USC.
O'Sullivan has led Florida to the College World Series semifinals. Once the College World Series is over it will be interesting to see if O'Sullivan interviews or there is another coach who a candidate for the Carolina job.
