Mikayla Shields Hits Career Mark In USC Volleyball Career

COLUMBIA, SC - USC hosted Arkansas Sunday in volleyball at the Carolina Volleyball Center. The Gamecocks lost to Arkansas 3-1 but sophomore Mikayla Shields joined elite company.

The sophomore posted a game high 13 kills and now has over 700 career in her career. She is the third player in program history to accomplish the feat in two years.

Lorie Row and current assistant coach Shonda Cole are the other players to hit the mark.

South Carolina will be back on the court this Friday night as they host Alabama.
